The food was terrible. My daughter got the steak and didn't even eat half of eat. I got the bar-be-que baked potato. Looked like they had took the pork and smashed it around the potato like a ball. Suppose to have cheese in it and there was none. Was told the Sweet Potato Crunch was made from fresh sweet potato's. It was very obviously made with canned yams. Felt like the waitress was trying to push us out the door and no there were not that many customers there. Prices WAY to high for the food we were served. Will not eat here again. Only gave it (1) star because it wouldn't let me review without at least one star :( AND AFTER READING ALL THE OTHER POSTS NO ONE TOLD US ABOUT FREE ICE CREAM. MY 2 GRAND DAUGHTERS WOULD HAVE ENJOYED THAT!!!
It was awesome! We came in for a late lunch. Our server was the sweetest thing. We had the Man-handler which is a baked potato loaded down with some of the best bbq I've ever had. It was so good that we ordered a plate to take to our son for supper. But the server made the whole experience for us...and they had our kind of music playing.
Hubby and I go Everytime we go to Douglas. Wonderful food. I usually get grilled meatloaf and hubby usually gets fried catfish but today he got a steak and enjoyed every bite. Don't forget your free ice cream at the end.
I got the baked potato loaded with barbecue. It was really good! The portion size was more than I should have eaten, but it was so good I had to finish it. Great family place, great food, great atmosphere.
One word sums the food and service, Amazing! From the very beginning with the homemade butter will transport your taste buds to happiness. I've dined in many fine establishments, and the flying cowboy is at the top of my list of places to dine.
